Funding Resources for people who would like to attend We Care Adult Care • Long-Term Care Insurance- Many policies offer coverage for adult day care centers. • Alzheimer’s Association – offers $1,000 non-income based reimbursement to individuals attending an adult day care program for memory-related disorders. 973-586-4300 • Monmouth County Office on Aging – Below is a list of MEDICARE WAIVER programs and some of the important requirements that must be met in order to be a qualifying participant. 732-431-7450: • JACC (Jersey Assistance for Community Caregivers) Medicare Waiver Program, maximum income limit is $3,296 a month and liquid assets of $40,000 or less for an individual or $60,000 or less for a couple. Provides 5 hour a day program usually 2 or 3 days a week. 1-877-222-3737 • GO (Global Options) – Maximum gross income limit is $2022/mo. for a single person with no more than $2,000 in assets. Couple-4,044/mo. with no more than $3,000 in assets. Have liquid assets of less than $40,000 /$60,000 for couples (assets that can be converted to cash within 20 working days).
